Cole Chua is an icon in the WPGA community, recognized as the school captain, retired Seymour house captain, and an overall welcoming force in the school. However, it is also important to recognize that Cole is a regular human being just like the rest of us. So, today we will explore a day in the life of Cole Chua.
The day was Thursday, March 5th, and Cole Chua began his day at 7:30am. To most, this might seem like a reasonable time to wake up, but for Cole, it was far behind schedule. That day, he needed to set up an event for ball week, which took place in the mornings. So, Cole got ready and left the house in 15 minutes, arriving at school just in time. He then helped set up various games in order for the students to have a fun and interesting start to their day. In fact, he was so successful that the event ran into block 2A, causing administration to have to shut down the games. A tragic end.
Cole then headed up to his first class, biology, where he still somehow managed to arrive early enough to get a seat with a view of the whiteboard. As Mr. Butler gave an exciting introduction to neurons, Cole already had his mind racing, using those very neurons to not only listen to his teacher, but also to plan his next big task: the staff v. student basketball game. To further plan this show, Cole went to Lu’s Lab for the second half of biology (which was a study block – Cole wasn’t skipping). He began discussing the event with his co-athletics prefect Ann Wang. They ordered some pizza to feed the hungry teenagers, and then it was time for Cole to learn calculus. He studied ‘really really really hard’ for the topic about polar area because he is a ‘very very good student.’
Recess started, and it was time for Cole to set up for the Staff v. Student basketball game. After doing so, he took some time from his schedule to enjoy himself by actually watching the game. Overall, he thought it was a really intense game and successful event, with lots of students giving good reviews about it. However, he thought that some individuals may have been taking the game a little bit too seriously.
At lunch, Cole had yet another activity to attend, and that was the obscure and secretive prefect meeting where they plan all sorts of student activities. They discussed ball week, Peaks events, and the term end assembly, overall making it a productive session. Cole then went to law class where he watched his peers give presentations. For his last class, Cole went to English apparently ‘having done his homework.’ However, others (Cole Chua) have claimed that he actually forgot about it and instead used the class document.
After school, Cole’s busy schedule had him attend a driving lesson, in which his instructor was ranting about another student not showing him respect. However, what this interaction indicates is that Cole, being the wonderful student and leader he is, shows abundant respect to his teachers, making him a student deserving of a 200% in every single class and of course his driver’s license.. After a long day, Cole went home and chilled on his comfy couch playing Brawl Stars. Though he is not the best at Brawl Stars, he is wonderful in other areas, such as cooking: he made veal with stir fried garlic bok choi, which is a fancy way of saying rice with stuff in it. After doing so, Cole realized that he should probably study, so he decided to be a good student and study ‘really really really hard’ once again. He also read some books and sent some emails. He locked in until 1am, at which point he became hungry again and decided to make some more food, this time a bowl of minestrone soup with shell pasta. At this point, Cole became a little bit tired, so he decided to shower and go to sleep, falling asleep at 2am.
