ARIES (March 21st-April 19th)
As a naturally impulsive and spontaneous sign one of the most difficult things about the lockdown is not being able to jump up and go on a last minute adventure with friends. It may seem like there’s nothing new to do but perhaps it’s a sign that you need to rest. Take this time to recharge. Catch up on work, revisit an old hobby, and get your energy out by playing a competitive sport with a family member!
Cooking suggestion: Pretzels! – A slight challenge that you can show off!
TAURUS (April 20th-May 20th)
As a typical homebody this quarantine may not have seemed to be a huge deal at first, but as we settle into it you may be starting to get antsy. Try to keep a routine so you can continue to pursue your projects and feel as though you are being productive. For most tauriens the opportunity to focus on work is a blessing, but be sure to not overwork yourself and still find some downtime!
Cooking suggestion: Cinnamon buns! – The ultimate comfort food to end a productive day!
GEMINI (May 21st-June 20th)
Gemini, the social butterfly! You may feel beyond deprived of your favorite things: good conversations and group activities, but try to keep a positive outlook! When this is over, all the gatherings will be amazing and you’ll feel so re-energized. For now, try to engage with your friends over facetime or zoom so your thoughts are not trapped inside your head, spinning around aimlessly!
Cooking suggestion: Fresh pasta! A very social food that you can customize!
CANCER (June 21st-July 22nd)
There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, which can be hard for your already typically emotional and overwhelmed self. But now is the perfect time to engage in your artistic side (one that you rarely get to engage in!) Paint bottles, re-decorate, and maybe even try your hand at embroidery. It’s okay to feel anxious about the circumstances, but try to distract yourself for a bit and ease the weight you may feel.
Cooking suggestion: Raspberry lemonade – Sweet, soothing, and perfect for a sunny afternoon!
LEO (July 23rd-August 22nd)
Ah Leo, the other social butterfly of the zodiac! You must be feeling very touch deprived and lonely during these new times, and your normally sunny self may be feeling rather empty. But try to look at this as a break from your crazy life and social calendar. Catch up on some zzz’s, get some beauty sleep and when we come back from this you’ll be more fabulous and energized than ever!

VIRGO (August 23rd-September 22nd)
As someone who loves their home and having time to organize and clean, this quarantine may feel very refreshing, but try not to get carried away. Don’t isolate from everyone while you rearrange your whole room and colour code your closet! Call a friend while you clean and be sure to get outside and step away from whatever you’ve been obsessing over. Once this passes you will be ready and equipped for whatever follows!
Cooking suggestion: waffles or pancakes! – Something fun and easy to give you a break!
LIBRA (September 23rd-October 22nd)
As a logical person who prefers to balance all aspects of a problem, the complexity of the current state of our world may feel overbearing. It’s easy for you to get caught up in all the intricate details of this crisis, but try to clear your mind of these thoughts. Perhaps reminisce, take a walk down memory lane and look through old photo albums or possessions from when you were little; a little nostalgia never hurt anyone!
Cooking suggestion: Sugar cookies! – Sweet, classic, and simple!
SCORPIO (October 23rd-November 21st)
Humour is often a coping mechanism of yours, and although right now it may seem like the easiest way to cope with the current situation, try not to block out everyone else. Now is a time where we need to be unified more than ever, and you have a knack for bringing people together with empathy. Use this to unite family and friends in a safe way like a zoom call or family night. It may seem cheesy but you have the ability to make it feel natural!

SAGITTARIUS (November 22nd-December 21st)
Feeling caged in? As a free spirited sign these times may be especially hard for you! Much like Aries, you live for a spontaneous beach drive or dinner at a new restaurant, but with these currently not possible, you are probably drowning in boredom. One way to relieve yourself could be to direct your energy into others; find ways to spice up family dinner or entertain (maybe annoy) a sibling or parent, you’re a pro at lightening the mood!

CAPRICORN (December 22nd-January 19th)
As someone who often works from home, quarantine may not be the biggest adjustment for you. Still, this doesn’t mean it won’t affect you in unanticipated ways, such as suddenly finding it extremely difficult to focus! Don’t freak out, this likely just means you need some time to be creative and flexible. If trying on all your shoes or doing a dance in the mirror helps get the jitters out, then go crazy!
Cooking suggestion: Fried rice! – endless opportunities to go kinda crazy!
AQUARIUS (January 20th-February 18th)
It’s finally time to finish all those crazy unfinished projects you’ve been putting off for months! From a painting to reorganizing your desk or maybe a piece of writing, whatever it is, once you finish it, you’ll feel so rejuvenated and better once it’s completed. Make use of these trying times to finish your to do list so that once we return to normal you can enjoy everything in full capacity!
Cooking suggestion: Pad thai! – A slight challenge with amazing and tangy results!
PISCES (February 19th-March 20th)
After making your way through every show available on netflix, disney plus, amazon prime and even hulu, you may feel as though there’s nothing left to do. However, you thrive on your own, being so in tune with your emotions allows you to comprehend everything fairly well, and because of this you are an amazing asset to friends who may be feeling hopeless. Use your people skills to guide others through their tough emotions.
Cooking suggestion: Mango lassi! – Calming and soothing to accompany any meal!
