Holiday Horoscopes

ARIES (March 21th-April 19th)

You have a tendency to make impulsive purchases regularly. Now that it’s the holiday season, it’s time to take your great gift giving abilities and shop till you drop. Take advantage of all the holiday sales and be sure to share the love with all your friends! Maybe even buy your teachers a special something to show how much you appreciate them! Just be sure not to go too crazy and remember to be strategic with your spending.

Holiday item: A cozy fireplace

 

TAURUS (April 20th-May 20th)

Your two favourite pastimes are eating and sleeping, which is why the holiday season is probably your favourite! Take advantage of all the amazing food and make dinner with your friends or decorate cookies with your family. After all that eating, you might need a nap, so kick back and relax by the fireside. Just be sure to save the snoozing for after school has ended!

Holiday Item: Mistletoe

 

GEMINI (May 21st-June 20th)

The holidays are a great time to get out and be social! Take a trip to the Christmas train and make some new friends! Family meals can sometimes be painful but your great conversation skills will come in handy and help everyone get along. Everyone knows you’ll be in the halls spreading plenty of holiday spirit. Make treats and hand them out or take the time to thank your teachers for all their hard work!

CANCER (June 21st-July 22cnd)

You love spending time with your family and friends during the holiday season. Go out skating or skiing with your family to show off your athletic abilities! Then grab your friends and make some eggnog with them while listening to holiday music! Sing along and enjoy the time spent with the people you love! Just be sure not to belt out Michael Buble during english class!

LEO (July 23rd-August 22cnd)

Leos are natural born actors so you love a good movie. Take some down time during your break and watch some holiday classics. Whether it’s the Grinch with your friends, or Frosty the Snowman with your siblings, you’re bound to have a good time. It’s nostalgic and relaxing! Maybe you’ll even be lucky enough to watch some Charlie Brown in your favourite class!

VIRGO (August 23rd-September 22cnd)

You love routine in your life and the holidays are a wonderful time to revisit old childhood traditions. Grab your old family recipe book and bake some pies or cookies! You could even get super nostalgic and make snow angels if we’re lucky enough to get a snow day this year! If there is a big snowfall, remember to be careful on the school steps and don’t throw any icy snowballs!

LIBRA (September 23rd-October 22cnd)

You have a knack for storytelling and there’s nothing better than a classic holiday tale! Grab your siblings and take turns reading your favourite childhood books. If that’s not your thing, then try decorating your room with lights and tinsel to help lighten up the dark weather outside. You might have some trouble untangling the lights but you’re a fast thinker and can surely solve the puzzle!

SCORPIO (October 23rd-November 21st)

Scorpios are known for loving the scary things in life such as Halloween, so the cozy and warm nature of the holiday season may not be your jam. So here are a couple of less cheesy ideas for you! Watch the nightmare before Christmas (still spooky) or take your generous nature and help shovel a neighbours driveway! You’ll ultimately give in and embrace the season.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22cnd-December 21st)

You go ALL out for the winter holidays. Whether it’s wearing a full santa costume or giving out your family’s favourite holiday food. You love this time of year despite the icy cold weather! Just be sure to bundle up before you go sledding down the hill or make snowmen! You might be too enthusiastic and end up with some frozen toes. Always keep some mitts and a toque by your side and you’ll be all set!

CAPRICORN (December 22cnd-January 19th)

Capricorns are known to be workaholics so sometimes the laid back nature of the holidays can be hard to adjust to. But there are plenty of ways to keep yourself occupied during the break! Make a film with your friends or make personalized holiday gifts! Also be sure to take some time to just chill out. I know it can be hard, but in the end you’ll be thankful for the time to yourself!

AQUARIUS (January 20th-February 18th)

Time to get creative once again Aquarius! There are so many things you can pour all that imagination into this holiday season! Stocking stuffers, wrapping presents, and of course the presents themselves! You go all out when it comes to making the most amazing homemade gifts. We can all tell how much love you stuff into each and every one and we greatly appreciate it!

Holiday Item: Tree ornaments

 

PISCES (February 19th-March 20th)

Winter is the dreamiest time of year and there is lots of fun places to go to get you in the holiday spirit! Go downtown and check out all the trees at the Fairmont hotel, or take a trip up the mountain and snowshoe in the winter wonderland! It’s cheesy but that’s what you love most! There’s no better time to spread happiness, and another great way to do this is to give back to those less fortunate through the school’s service initiatives!
